Just click and drag from the Browser/Plugin picker or file manger into Edison’s waveform window. The two Playlist methods above will work for Edison too. You can also use Edison to sample from your MP3. Edison allows for more editing flexibility if that’s what you want to do with your MP3. The second spot we can import MP3 into within FL Studio is Edison.

I've just opened two instances of FL on my pc and let them play two different things. Then you can use rewire and play them together side by side. What you can do is make a copy of FLEngine.dll and call it FLEngineCopy.dll. Just click and drag them from the Browser/Plugin picker to the Playlist or Channel rack. Then open your new project, and in piano roll, load up the score files. They’ll be available in the list just like your samples.

To listen to the audio from the FL Studio sequencer: Install Live on your computer. This is done by ReWiring FL Studio with Live. The first spot we can import MP3 into within FL Studio is the Playlist. Using Live, you can integrate audio recording, loops and samples from your FL Studio projects. Keep in mind that these techniques will work with all audio files supported by FL Studio, not just MP3.
